SF Fiber recently took part in the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, one of the world’s biggest and most comprehensive exhibitions of apparel fabric and accessories, held at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre on 25-27 September.

At the exhibition, SF Fiber unveiled their AW20 sustainable viscose collection under five themes: Actico, Body Curve, Cross Path, Signature and Warm Hug, featuring pieces from lightweight jersey intimates to neoprene athleisure wear.

Key pieces from the Actico and Body Curve collection which combined the usage of Sateri biodegradable viscose and Unifi REPREVE® recycled polyester, attracted the most attention from visitors.

“The collection fits perfectly under our concept – Fiber Beyond,” said Johnny Yong, Director of Product – SF Fiber, “Fiber Beyond means we are thinking beyond just viscose fiber. We wanted to develop a new range of possibilities that embody the viscose fiber through responsible innovation and sustainable creativity. At the same time, we are working closely with mills and other partners to develop innovative viscose products sought by customers.”

The special fabrication has greater moisture absorption and breathability with long-lasting softness, also making it an environmentally conscious choice.

While retail brands pay more attention to supply chain transparency, consumers are becoming more conscious about choosing high-quality products made with sustainable materials and green production process.

“Going forward, we will continue to work closely with our partners by sharing our insights and expertise,” said Johnny, “ultimately, we aim to facilitate the growth of supply chain transparency practices through supporting brand product development.”
